Jessica Ke’alohilani Barut, the Oahu based reservation sales associate, competed in the 50th Anniversary of the Merrie Monarch Festival held at the Edith Kanaka’ole Stadium in Hilo, Hawaii in early April 2013.
Jessica was one of 12 contestants vying for the prestigious title of Miss Aloha Hula. She represented her halau Ka Pa Hula O Ka Lei Lehua under the direction of her kumu hula Snowbird P u a n a n i o p a o a – kalani Bento.
Following her return from Hilo, the Oahu office held a fabulous potluck luncheon in her honor. A good time was shared by all and the PolyAd ohana is extremely proud of Jessica’s accomplishments and congratulates her on being PolyAd’s Miss Aloha Hula.
