PolyAd ohana raises $1,040 for charity walk

Throughout the month of May, PolyAd and its employees collectively contributed $1,040 to benefit the Hawaii Hotel and Lodging Association’s 35th Annual Visitor Industry Charity Walk.

“Fantastic news!,” said Brandon Briggs when informed by email regarding the amount raised by the PolyAd ohana.


Team Kauai held their walk on May 11, 2013 beginning at the Historic County Building. “We had a great time, and are going to really push the rest of the employees to participate next year!,” said Malia Delos Reyes. Kauai employees that participated include Mark Cramer, Brian Cremer, Malia Delos Reyes, Nancy Fernandez, Lori Kaiminaauao, Sam Kitsch, Daakara Monson, Kamu Ramos, Nalani Taylor, Craig Vegas, Kanae Vinhaca and Lisa Williams. Team Oahu held their walk a week later on May 18, 2013 beginning at Ala Moana Beach Park. Oahu employees that participated in the walk include Frank Among, Jamie Barut, Jessica Barut, Brandon Briggs, Lisa Brown, William Ching, Guillermo Colon, Margaret Faamatau, Bob George, Jason Heath, Glenn Kawamura, Jon Lolatte, Sara Matsuura, Bill Meehan, Teri Montgomery, Peter Pae, Alexis Sagapolutele, Glenda Santiago, Shirley Santos and Nadine Sylva.

Besides the camaraderie and bonding time, walkers got a chance to sample some ono food along the walk route. “The committee did a great job! Special shout out to Lisa Brown who did a great job of coordinating and organizing!,” said Jamie Barut.


PolyAd Launches Three New Double Decker Tours

On May 10, 2013, PolyAd welcomed the addition of three new and exciting Oahu Double Decker Tours to its growing portfolio of spectacular and sensational tour offerings. The new tour offerings are anchored by the electrifying South Shore Sea Cliffs Double Decker tour. This will become a daily tour leaving Waikiki at 10:30am and take passengers past historic Diamond Head, through famous Kahala and out to Hanauma Bay with a lunch stop at Sea Life Park. The Double Decker’s high vantage point will offer our customers an unparalleled view along the sea cliffs while providing our guests with amazing photograph opportunities on this scintillating scenic drive.


The new tour offerings also include a version of the current Pearl Harbor and Honolulu City Highlights Tour, with the main difference being that the tour will be offered on a Double Decker.

The third exciting offering is a Downtown Honolulu and Shopping Tour which ventures through downtown highlights such as Kawaiahao Church, ‘Iolani Palace and the King Kamehameha Statue. The tour continues on through the Ward and Ala Moana shopping areas and leaves every two hours.

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Body Shop Helper in Oahu to assist in cleaning and refurbishing damaged company vehicles, and work on minor body repairs and adjustments by using hand tools, power tools, and specification manuals. They also assist in replacing glass windows, cleans exterior body and windows, repairing vehicle upholstery, floors, and coverings, and prep/clean body parts for spray and paint detail. Two years of general labor experience is required. One year of experience in a body shop or vehicle repair field preferred.

WASH CREW (part-time MAUI)

Our Wash Crew is tasked with maintaining a high standard of quality of cleanliness and appearance for our fleet of vehicles. Applicants must be flexible and dependable as shifts are in the evenings, and include weekends and holidays.


Polynesian Adventure Tours is looking for quality individuals to join our field dispatch team. These positions are on a part-time basis. Applicants must be able to pass federal background security checks to access airport and harbor facilities. Strong communication skills, the ability to multi-task and maintain focus in a fast-paced work environment are essential. Exceptional customer service skills and teamwork are also requirements for this position. Applicants must be flexible as they are expected to work less than 20 hours a week in which shifts include early mornings and late evenings, weekends and holidays.


Polynesian Adventure Tours is seeking a strong detail-oriented and organized individual to lead our Kona Station operations. This position directly oversees the station operations which includes (but is not limited to): dispatching, staffing and scheduling, fleet coordination, employee relations, payroll, and budget preparation. They will also ensure that all fleet-related risk and safety requirements are met in a timely manner. At least five (5) years of customer service or related tourism/travel experience is required. Two years of supervisory, training, or managerial experience is also required.


Polynesian Adventure Tours is looking for qualified individual with a successful track record of organizational growth, proven leadership and customer service skills to become our Quality Control Manager. The Quality Control Manager will maintain and improve product quality by conducting training classes and collaborating with management to ensure first class products and services. The Quality Control Manager will develop workbooks, presentation materials, and manuals that will aid in the training, retention, and dissemination of job skills. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Development, or a relatable field of study; OR six (6) years of experience in training, customer service management, quality assurance or control, or other management positions may be substituted for education. Specialized training may also be considered. Four (4) years of experience in training and developing, quality control, or related fields required. Within such experience, at least two years of organizational development, training, or managerial experience is preferred; OR any combination of progressive experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities has been achieved.

DRIVER (part-time Maui, Kauai, Kona, and Hilo)

Polynesian Adventure Tours is looking for part time drivers on Maui, Kauai, Kona, and Hilo. Qualified applicants should be 21 years of age or older, be a permanent resident of the stat of Hawaii, have a current CDL A or B driver license with passenger and airbrake endorsements, have a clean driver’s abstract and driver history record. Polynesian Adventure Tours will train you to get your CDL license if you otherwise qualify.
